Marketing & Creative Director
As Marketing and Creative Director for Youth and Stars Success Walk, Bessie Bullard oversees the planning, development and direction of the event’s creative efforts and marketing strategies. Her experience in marketing and event management covers the areas of consumer and trade advertising, media buying, graphic design, web design, content development, copywriting, grant writing, social media, publicity, and promotions, spanning more than 20 years. Bessie was an integral member of the executive team at Canadian Music Week, committing 13 years to a communications role at a director level. In addition to Canadian Music Week, as a freelance consultant, Bessie has worked on a number of events and festivals, including Big Music Fest, BackFortMac the concert, Country Music Association of Ontario Awards and Conference, Digital Media Summit, and Mississauga ITALFEST. She is currently carrying out her fourteenth year as Event Manager for the Canadian Independent Music Awards and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University.
